What does MeCademy application coaching include?
Individual coaching
You will receive your personal coach with whom you can work on your way to your dream job for 8 weeks. Through a special matching we look for YOUR suitable coach. In a weekly one-on-one video call, which lasts 90 minutes, you will work together to develop a career strategy that is optimally tailored to your situation and takes your strengths, values and skills into account.
Moderated group sessions
In the group sessions, all participants of the MeCademy work together intensively on the weekly topics and tasks. By sharing best practice , mutual feedback and expert input from practice through the moderator, everyone in the boot camp receives the support they need. Do you have an appointment and can’t attend the group session? Then watch the video recording afterwards.
Online self-study
In the MeCademy online academy you will work through our workbook with all the content on the application process, tools and practical tips from HR experts. In addition, we offer you video tutorials and exclusive Q&A session videos with experts from recruiting, personal branding and the LinkedIn cosmos. You can use all this flexibly in terms of time and location in self-study. Just as it fits into your everyday life.

Relationships only hurt those who don’t have them. Networking is not only a career and opportunity booster, but can also be a lot of fun. The MeCademy uses the expert knowledge and the status of MentorMe as Germany’s largest professional mentoring program for women. Numerous events are held here with network partners to bring women and business together.

Are you an academic and currently registered as looking for a job?
If so, you can participate for free.
MeCademy’s application coaching is an officially AZAV-certified course. This means that if you have an AVGS voucher you can enter for free. This voucher enables you to take part in a training course from certified training providers free of charge in order to acquire new, valuable and sought-after knowledge that will improve your integration in the labor market. As soon as this has been issued by the employment agency / job center, you can redeem it at the training provider of your choice. Who can receive the AVGS?
Recipients of unemployment benefit I can, at the discretion of the employment agency, receive the activation and placement voucher from the first day of registering as unemployed. After 6 weeks of unemployment and benefit receipt (within the last 3 months), ALG-I recipients have a legal right to the activation and placement voucher.
Recipients of unemployment benefit II (Hartz IV) can receive an activation and placement voucher without a waiting period (i.e. immediately) at the discretion of the job center, consortium or option municipality. You can find an application for the AVGS here.
Non- benefit recipients – i.e. job seekers without benefit receipt – can receive the activation and placement voucher for the first time. As for recipients of unemployment benefit II, this can be granted upon application at the discretion of the service provider.
