Karin Heinzl
Founder & Managing Director
Karin studied Communication and Politics as well as Political Management. After experience in adult education, politics and development cooperation around women empowerment, Karin founded MentorMe in 2015. Karin has been a board member of the German Society for Mentoring since 2018.
Nadine Henning
Event & Community Manager
Nadine studied archaeological sciences and classical archaeology. In addition to her studies, she worked in the event industry for over 10 years and started her own business as a PR manager with a focus on music and culture . At MentorMe she manages the communication of the community and organizes events.

Juliane Bormann
Executive Assistant
Juliane studied Communication with a focus on Translation and has worked in the areas of Office Management and Editing in recent years. At the same time, she has established herself as a freelance moderator and communication trainer. At MentorMe, she is the Executive Assistant to the Management Board and works closely with Karin.
Christiana Mensah
Marketing Manager
Christiana studied International Management and is currently completing her Master’s in Digital Business Management. Alongside her studies, she completed further training as an Online Marketing Manager and has since been helping other self-employed individuals build their online presence. After gaining experience in CRM, data management, and pre-sales, Christiana supports MentorMe in all marketing activities.
Tamar Katsia
Community Manager
Tamar studied Business Administration and gained initial professional experience as an intern at the Georgian Ministry of Education and the Tax Office. She later moved to Berlin and specialized in the field of Social Media and Project Management. At MentorMe, she is responsible for Matching, Events & Digitalization.

Carmen Koehler
Community Manager
Carmen studied Translation Studies for Spanish, Portuguese, and English with a focus on Law and Medicine. She worked independently for over 10 years, serving international clients and authorities. After a profound professional reorientation, she joined MentorMe, where she is primarily involved in the areas of Communication and Matching, as well as addressing the needs of our community. Inclusion and diversity are particularly important topics to her.
Louisa Mittmann
Marketing Assistant
Louisa studied environmental sciences and is currently undergoing further training as an Online Marketing Manager. Since graduating, she has worked in various sustainable and non-profit organizations. At MentorMe, she uses the newly learned tools to support online marketing.
Mathias Hamann
Trainer
Mathias has worked for over 30 media, including Spiegel and Die Zeit. He runs a shelter for refugees and is the founder and trainer of the Institute for Communication and Society. He has received several awards as a trainer and social manager. At MentorMe he leads the training for mentees.
Aileen Müller-Mechsner
mentoring supervision
Aileen is a certified mediator, coach and lecturer. Before that, she was at Berlin universities, where she managed a family service, among other things. The themes of her heart are family compatibility and conflict resolution through art. She volunteers at MentorMe as a mentor and now a mediator.
Nina Fiedler

Nina is a sociologist with a diploma, living and loving life in Hamburg. With over 20 years of expertise in the field of personnel management, she works as an independent mediator, consultant, and coach, helping individuals within organizations resolve existing conflicts. She also volunteers as a mentor and mediator for MentorMe.
Julia Derndinger
Advisor
Julia studied business administration at the commercial college in Leipzig before starting her own business. Foundations and management positions followed. Since 2013 she has been advising founders and entrepreneurs full-time, including MentorMe.
Annahita Esmailzadeh
Advisor
Annahita is a tech leader, speaker, and bestselling author. At Microsoft, she leads the Customer Success Account Management division across four industries. As one of the most influential thought leaders in the German business community, Annahita advocates for diversity and inclusion, as well as modern cultural and leadership approaches in the workplace.
Carlos Schreiber
mentoring supervision
Carlo has Intl. Management studies and works in the program management of an aviation company. He designs and supports Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and is involved in a Group mentoring program. At MentorMe, he advises mentors and mentees on all matters relating to mentoring.
