Karin Heinzl
Founder & Managing Director
Karin studied Communication and Politics as well as Political Management. After experience in adult education, politics and development cooperation around women empowerment, Karin founded MentorMe in 2015. Karin has been a board member of the German Society for Mentoring since 2018.
Nadine Henning
Event & Community Manager
Nadine studied archaeological sciences and classical archaeology. In addition to her studies, she worked in the event industry for over 10 years and started her own business as a PR manager with a focus on music and culture . At MentorMe she manages the communication of the community and organizes events.
Juliane Bormann
Head of Administration & HR
Juliane studied Communication with a focus on Translation and has worked in the areas of Office Management and Editing in recent years. At the same time, she has established herself as a freelance moderator and communication trainer. At MentorMe, she is Head of Administration & HR and wants to contribue to a work space where everybody feels seen and heard.
Carmen Koehler
Community Manager
Carmen studied Translation Studies for Spanish, Portuguese, and English with a focus on Law and Medicine. She worked independently for over 10 years, serving international clients and authorities. After a profound professional reorientation, she joined MentorMe, where she is primarily involved in the areas of Communication and Matching, as well as addressing the needs of our community. Inclusion and diversity are particularly important topics to her.
Jacqueline Nyantwaza
Customer Service & Community Care
Jacqueline studied to become a teacher and worked in the field of education. After a career change and further training as a psychological counselor, she gained experience in project management and community building. At MentorMe, she serves as the main point of contact for new mentees and anyone interested in our program, and happily addresses the needs of our community.
Tamar Katsia
CRM Manager
Tamar studied business administration and worked at the Ministry of Education and the tax office in Georgia. She later moved to Berlin and specialized in social media and project management. At MentorMe, she oversees the CRM systems Salesforce and our e-commerce platform. She also provides ongoing technical support to our team and our mentees.
Lisa Borngräber
Marketing Manager
Lisa studied journalism and initially worked as an editor. She later ventured into self-employment, combining her enthusiasm for good storytelling and creative design. She brings her experience from both worlds to MentorMe – always focusing on making MentorMe tangible and visible as a strong brand.
Ilka Däther
Marketing Manager
Ilka studied European Cultural Studies and Digital Communication. Through her roles in agencies and a shipping company, she gained comprehensive expertise across the entire marketing spectrum. At MentorMe, she now focuses on paid advertising and B2B marketing, helping more and more companies discover the value of mentoring.
Nina Fiedler

Nina is a sociologist with a diploma, living and loving life in Hamburg. With over 20 years of expertise in the field of personnel management, she works as an independent mediator, consultant, and coach, helping individuals within organizations resolve existing conflicts. She also volunteers as a mentor and mediator for MentorMe.
Annahita Esmailzadeh
Advisor
Annahita is a tech leader, speaker, and bestselling author. At Microsoft, she leads the Customer Success Account Management division across four industries. As one of the most influential thought leaders in the German business community, Annahita advocates for diversity and inclusion, as well as modern cultural and leadership approaches in the workplace.
