You're a match!

How wonderful—you’ve been successfully matched! We’re excited to welcome you as a mentoring team at MentorMe.

Here you’ll find all the important information about how to structure your mentoring sessions and participate in our program.

Welcome to the 2025/2026 MentorMe program year—through the end of October 2026, you should now plan to co-create at least one mentoring session (1h) per month—and now it’s time to get started! Woohoo!

We kindly ask the mentee to take the first step by sending an email to their mentor to schedule your first (virtual) mentoring session. When finding a suitable time, please keep in mind that our mentors are volunteers—so be sure to accommodate their availability.
Further down on the page, you’ll find additional information, our Mentoring Manual, and a variety of mentoring tools you can use throughout your mentoring relationship (though there’s absolutely no obligation to use them). The Mentoring Guide, in particular, can be especially helpful before your first session. Do you ideas for other tools? We’re always happy to hear your input!

It’s important to use your first meeting to clarify preferences around communication and the format of your sessions (online, by phone, etc.), and to align your mutual expectations and goals for the mentoring relationship.

Feel free to reach out to our MentorMe Community Management at matching@mentorme-ngo.org anytime if you have further questions about your mentoring—or if, during your first meeting, you realize it might not be a perfect match after all!

You can see how we learn from one another by joining our monthly events on a wide range of career-related topics. As an active mentee or mentor (with or without a current match), you’re welcome to attend all events free of charge—even if you’re not part of the specific community group hosting the event (for example, you can join an event organized by the Founders’ Community even if you’re not a founder yourself). All events take place online via Zoom, unless otherwise stated in the event description.
You’ll receive information about the following month’s events in our monthly Community News and on our website. By clicking the arrows next to the current month on the website, you can also explore upcoming events in the months ahead—as well as view past events—and register for any that interest you.

Do you have your own idea for an event—or would you even like to present your topic to our community as an expert? Reach out to our Head of Events, Nadine!

In our MentorMe trainings, you’ll gain valuable skills and insights on the following topics. Please note that our trainings are currently offered in German only.

You can find the latest updates on our MentorMe trainings on our website—and, of course, in our monthly Community Newsletter, which you’ll automatically receive.

A strong community is helpful when it comes to professional development. Connect online with other MentorMe members in our main MentorMe LinkedIn group: MentorMe Inside.

We also have additional communities focused on a variety of topics where you can connect with others and gain valuable insights at monthly events. You can find an overview on our Community page.
